The Africa Green Building Summit is the premier gathering for the sustainable building community.It is organised by Kenya Green Building Society, who have been on the from line advocating for green Building in Kenya.

The theme for AGBS (Africa Green Building Summit) is centered on Financing Sustainable Development Goals, a key global priority for all nations.

 

It will  be held at the region’s hub, Nairobi, from 22 – 24 March 2017. According to New Climate Economy, urban areas in sub-Saharan Africa will be home to 800 million more people by 2050. All these people will live, work and study in buildings. The future growth in Africa presents a tremendous opportunity for stakeholders to reinvent the way we build – to benefit the economy, society and enable humanity and nature to thrive in harmony. Our purpose is to champion the needed change, and to ask all of Africa to join us!

 

Africa Green Building Summit features three groundbreaking days of inspiring speakers, invaluable networking opportunities, industry showcases and trainings in GreenStar Communities and IFC EDGE.
